​The Fund’s investment objective is to achieve strong risk adjusted returns through investing in various funding instruments such as:

• Traditional mezzanine loans with equity kicker or upside participation;
• Convertible loans and preference shares;
• Second lien loans; and
• Payment-in-kind (“PIK”) notes.

These investments will be made exclusively on projects with high socio-economic impact and where cash flows are mainly derived directly or indirectly from government. The high predictability of the cash flows for repayment and tangible security is key to the decision-making process. ​
